Volunteer Ready Programe

During the programe beneficiares will; speak to people who currently volunteer, discover what you need to become volunter ready, put together your own CV, conduct practise interviews and phone calls, develop your communication and customer service skills, understanding how voluntering can work alongside your benefits, vist local job centres and volunteering organisations and search and apply for volunteering positions 

 

Uke'N'Chill

A new project funded by the People Postcode Lottery will have facilitator Lindsey Stainthorpe run 10-week programmes in both the North and South Liverpool teaching people the Ukelele and using it as a tool to improve mental health and well being.

growing toxteth

(starting 27th March 2018)

12 weeks drop in gardening sessions at John Archer Hall to gain a new skills, interact with the local community and building a community garden.

 

Computer Building Workshop

Learn to build a computer. Every week you will learn how to break apart a desktop computer, learn what each component does and then learn how to re-assemble.

Painting, Drawing & Sculpture Classes

We are happy to announce that starting the 10th April 2018 we will be starting Art sessions led by local artist Ryan Mcguiness. 

Experience guided tution in traditional fine art class, receive personalised suport and create your own masterpiece. No prior experience is neccesary.

Women of MOWLL

An enterprise group making new items to  be sold throughout Liverpool.

Life skill cooking group

Facilated by qualified chef showing the group cooking techniques and together making a meal for everyone to enjoy. 

History Group

To explore a new topic of local history. Meeting at G20 within the University of Liverpool. The group will then discover sites around Merseyside that relate to a particular topic of local history.

 

Thursday

Afternoon 12pm - 3pm

Morning 10am - 12pm

Photography Group

Headed by an established photographer to learn new techniques about photography whilst also exploring Merseyside in a new light.

 

 

Gym personal training

Working with a smaller group led by a personal trainer to improve fitness and wellbeing by attending Fire Fit gym in Toxteth

 

ART ATTACK (6 weeks)

6 week program of Art expression.  With potential of SA gaining another skill and leading Art workshops themselves.

 

Soulfillers Cooking Group

Learn to cook and to work towards a higher standard than the life skill cooking group. This is a great opportunity to those who want to work for the newly formed cooking company, Soulfillers.

 

WALKING FOR MINDFULLNESS

Interested in meeting new people but also given space to reflect and enjoy some gentle exercise
